I have just received my new macbook pro 17 inch. I've installed the bundled apps cd, but when I try to install Mac Office 2008, I receive the following error:
Microsoft office for Mac can't be installed on this disk. newer-version-installed message.
I'm running Snow leopard 10.6.4 and have only installed firefox and AIM besides the software that came with the mac.
I've searched the Mac and cannot find any reference to Microsoft or office 2008. I've also gone through the 'Remove office 2008 manually' from the Microsoft website and again have not found any files or folders they referred to.
Does anyone know what else I can do to solve this issue?
